About Us

2 bottle blonde mommas here in the midlands who want to save you time and money. Have you tried things around town that you thought would be "child friendly" that left you with a head full of grey hair instead of a lifetime of fun memories? Yeah, us too. That's why we drag our kids with us to businesses and events so that we can let you know what to expect BEFORE you try it. It's not always pretty, but so far we've lived to tell about it!

We must warn you, our kids are real and 100% unpredictable. You may have a different experience if you have well behaved children who sit still and listen, or if your children are paid actors. We would like to think we are right 100% of the time. Unfortunately for us, we are not. We have given every effort to relay correct information to you (regarding places to go and people to see), but don't hold it against us if (gasp!) we are misinformed. We can, however, guarantee our honest opinions.

We are constantly looking for new things to do, so if you have something for us to try please let us know at:

Kathy:

Lucky enough to be raised in the beautiful town of Aiken, SC, until I left to attend and graduate from Clemson in God's Country.  My blood runneth orange despite my in-laws trying to stain it garnet. I met my love in February of 2006 and, just shy of a year and a half later, we tied the knot.  I worked in the financial world until we were blessed with our sweet boy, who is now almost 4!  He is FULL of life, love and all things trains.  27 months after he came along, his sweet, little sister joined our family.  Our laid back baby has turned into our happy, spunky, opinionated little 18-month-old diva.  We're enjoying our crazy life with these two little ones.  The days are long, but the years are entirely too short.  So happy to have you along on this journey!

Tyson:

A true "Carolina Girl," I was born and raised in Chapin, SC.  After attending Woford College, I moved to Charleston, SC where I married my husband of now 7 years.  Not long after we were married, we moved to Savannah, GA where I worked as a medical office manager until our first daughter was born in 2006.  In 2009, our son was born to complete our little family.  Thankfully a move in 2010 brought us full circle back to SC, where it seems God had plans to make our family a little larger.  Our third angel was born in 2011, and she has been nothing but a blessing.
